If you would like to know more about this position, please contact us for an informal discussion.Job DescriptionThe Learning and Development Department, based at Denham, has a fantastic opportunity for one student to join the HR Learning and Development team for a 12-month internship. The department assists with all UK development requirements and organises training courses at various locations throughout the UK or online and offers a variety of other personal development solutions. As the Training Administrator Intern, you will be an important member of the team, providing assistance to both employees and training suppliers as well as providing key support for the team across the country.

  • Preparation of training course material packs and support of trainers on site and virtually
  • Supporting the management of the intern academy
  • Supporting the training evaluation process
  • Cooperating with and supporting the training administration team
  • Advertising training courses
  • Creating a variety of key visuals and updating the internal website
  • Team support (travel bookings, admin support)
  • General office organisation
  • Involvement in various departmental projects as required and according to skills

Qualifications

  • Studying for an undergraduate degree in either HR, Psychology or Business Studies, and required to take a placement as part of your course.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
  • Able to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
  • Good, clear telephone manner
  • Friendly individual with excellent interpersonal and customer skills and gets on well with others
  • You are required to have a full, valid UK driving license for this role.

Additional InformationThis is a 12-month internship beginning in July 2025. This position is open to undergraduate students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.Location: you will be based at the Denham office.Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement. Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.Before attending an interview for this position you must inform your Faculty/School Placement Officer and we strongly suggest you check you are eligible for a placement before you apply. If your Faculty/School does not have a Placement Officer, you must inform your course tutor.
