HR / Payroll OfficerSalary: £35,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (possibility of a 4-day work week) 37.5hoursOnsitePerm RoleJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HR/Payroll Officer to join our client’s team in Thirsk, England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both human resources and payroll management, with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Management:

• Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance on employment law and ensure compliance.
• Manage employee performance and development programs.

Payroll Management:

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll data entry and processing.
• Handle employee payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the finance department for payroll reconciliation.
• Oversee compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in HR and payroll management roles.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and payroll regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
