Consider this Toronto, Ontario area opportunity for a permanent HR Recruiter! Do you consider yourself a highly-skilled and motivated Human Resources Recruiter that is looking to refine their skills? You will be recruiting candidates for a wide variety of positions across accounting, marketing, operations, and technology fields. This position’s duties include recruition functions as well as a variety of personnel related administrative tasks, including providing clerical support to the HR department. This role is with a company in the Wholesale field.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:– Support the development and execution of full-cycle recruitment to meet aggressive hiring objectives within the corporate head office and retail showrooms
– Work with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings.
– Encourage employee referrals, communicating its importance.
– Create job descriptions.
– Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
– Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
– Track recruitment success metrics to gauge feedback on hiring and onboarding experiences. Leverage data to optimize recruiting practices for efficiency and quality.
– Network through industry contacts, association memberships and trade groups
– Design and deliver consistent onboarding and brand immersion experience for new hires.– Minimum (2) years of recruitment experience.
– Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or other appropriate field preferred.
– HR designation preferred.
– Automotive experience is an asset.
– Experience with high-volume recruitment
– Innovative thinker, able to use and develop new sources for recruitment.
– Able to work in a result focused environment.
– Proficiency with office applications and software, as well as social media platform.
– The responsibilities of this position will require you to be highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
