HR Specialist

A non-profit organization dedicated to removing barriers and establishing equal opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist to join the team for a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 3 months. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in onboarding new employees, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various HR functions. 

HR Specialist Job Duties:

• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately, and background checks are processed efficiently.
•  Maintain HR Information Systems with precision, update employee data, and manage documentation to ensure compliance.
• Conduct phone and resume screenings, coordinate interview schedules, and handle recruitment logistics.
• Assist with various HR initiatives and special projects while delivering excellent customer service.

HR Specialist Requirements:

• One year of experience in an HR role and one year in an administrative role with a customer service focus.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred) and advanced PC skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication abilities and capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM (day shift schedule can be flexible)

Pay: $28/hr

Location:
Renton, WA (Hybrid)

• This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week required at the Renton office.
• Free, on-site parking available
