As a member of this collaborative team, you can expect a safe, diverse and inclusive environment, and on-going learning and career development opportunities.About The Role:Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, the HSE Supervisor is a position in our organization responsible for ensuring company management and workers comply with OH&S/OSHA Regulations, our HSE Management System, and municipal/client safety guidelines. The HSE Supervisor leads and supervises a team of Senior HSE Coordinators on industrial projects throughout British Columbia.As a HSE Supervisor at Graham you will:Set a good example, demonstrate a positive safety attitude and abide by the Safety Code of EthicsProvide direction, support and leadership to Senior HS&E CoordinatorsIdentify cultural and behavioural issues related to HSE, and drive a step-change in safety behavioursBuild mutually respectful and constructive relationships with project management teams and front line supervisionProvide leadership, coaching and trainingDevelop/maintain an organization which embraces a commitment to safety and environmental excellence, concepts of best practice, continuous improvement and team workParticipate in and/or provide direction to others conducting incident investigations, review site incident investigations, including making recommendations to senior management to eliminate or control future riskProvide recommendations for implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications/Experience:Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education, trade certification or training and work experienceNCSO, CRSP or CSP certified or equivalentMinimum of 10 years’ experience in the Health and Safety field2 years Supervisory experience5 years construction industry experienceComprehensive working knowledge of OH&S/OSHA Acts & RegulationsHave broad knowledge of local government Health & Safety Acts, Policies, Regulations, and Industry Standards as they apply to the construction industryRequirement to travel (70%) within BC to fulfill job dutiesBe a results oriented leader capable of working productively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentExperience in quality (QA&QC) is an assetHave thorough knowledge and experience in health and safety management systems and program implementationStrong written and verbal communication skills, including public speakingStrong mentoring skillsPossess the demonstrated ability to motivate self and othersDemonstrated leadership, project management, and conflict resolution skillsCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary with annual bonus potentialComprehensive benefits package including dental, optical and medical and company matched pension planOwnership and long term equity opportunitiesIf this sounds like you, then Graham may be the right fit.
