  • In charge of the full cycle recruitment process for (hourly and salaried) roles across Canada.
  • Creating job descriptions, posting, screening & sourcing, and selection of candidates
  • Ensure Onboarding for new hire is effective

Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers to ensure understanding and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Respond to applicant and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide general HR support to all business lines including advising on disciplinary matters, investigations, safety, and benefits.
  • Input and maintain the integrity of employee data (including employee documents and files), process new hires, promotions, employment changes, and terminations, ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Create HR documentation including offer letters, onboarding documents, contractual agreements, employment confirmation letters etc.
  • Ensure people processes are being maintained and continually improved on.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in human resources.

Manage all email and tickets in a timely manner.Engagement & Culture

  • Develop relationship with front line employees by meeting, educating, and communicating to front line employees.
  • Executing on front line engagement activities to create a positive culture
  • Strong customer service skills and being patient/supportive to front line employees
  • Ensuring we have the right cultured employees as part of the team

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education:

  • 3+ years experience in Human Resources
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal) and comfort communicating to all stakeholders and levels.
  • Strong customer service skills in the highest regard of professionalism and helpfulness.
  • Go-getter and self-motivated to see gaps and initiate solutions to solve the problem
  • Working in tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Strong emotional intelligence to always remain calm and level-headed
  • An amazing attitude! Doing difficult or high volume work with a smile on your face!
  • Responsiveness: responding quickly and with direct communication to avoid unnecessary back and forth
