Our client is currently seeking a skilled Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario. The HR Manager will play a critical role in shaping our HR strategy and managing critical HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.Responsibilities-Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy to align with the organization’s strategic plan-Lead the HR function, including employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning-Develop and implement talent programs and services, such as recruitment, selection, onboarding, orientation, training, development, and -compensation recommendations-Create and implement a yearly plan for health, wellness, and connectivity, focusing on continuous improvement for staff engagement and retention-Facilitate cross-collaboration among various departments and identify areas where support is needed-Collaborate with the DEI committee to develop initiatives for education, awareness, and training-Work closely with other departments to integrate HR effectively-Ensure compliance and alignment of employment policies and programs with labour legislation-Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR function-Maintain a robust HRIS for automated and manual staff records, files, and reports-Provide backup support for payroll and administration of employee benefits and pension plans.Qualifications:-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role.-Proficient in ADP – Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.-Familiarity with ATS – Asynchronous Transfer Mode.-Experience with Ceridian.-Knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM).-Understanding of Benefit Functions.-Excellent communication skills.-Strong knowledge of compliance regulations applicable to HR.-Proven ability in managing employee relations.-Experience with hiring processes and tools.-Familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration.-Proficiency in using Human Resources software.-Experience with Human Resources Management System (HRMS).If this position interests you, please apply online today or call us at 613-236-4253 for more information.Job Reference Number: 0013114920Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
