Job description

Our client in Financial Services is looking to add a new team member to its Security Operations team. The IAM Operations Specialist will join the IAM Operations team and be responsible for ensuring that the IAM platforms are highly available and secure. This is a full-time permanent role with 2-3 days on-site in the downtown Toronto office.Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of enterprise IAM platforms, including SailPoint, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, Microsoft AD, Azure AD, and Entra ID.
• Ensure the platforms are highly available, scalable, and secure.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for IAM platform operations.
• Provide second-level support to IAM users and collaborate with the IAM Platform team to resolve complex issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the operational functions of all IAM platforms.
• Provide technical input to IAM projects and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Maintain production change control schedules and perform preventative maintenance to minimize disruptions to IAM services.
• Conduct routine access certifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create and maintain documentation for IAM platform operations.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of operational experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, and/or HashiCorp Vault.
• Strong experience in Microsoft AD, Azure AD, and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of security and risk control frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001/2, and GDPR.
• Superior problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Deadline-driven and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
