Description

Position Purpose:

The Sleep Center Technician is responsible for the set-up, administration, and post procedure functions in all manner of sleep diagnostic procedures including patient and family education. The Sleep Center Technician reports to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services/Sleep Center.

Education:

Registered Polysomnographer (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technician (RST), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.

Licenses/Certificates:

Must possess one of the following credentials: American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) or National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Must possess current card from the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers upon hire.

Experience:

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in all aspects of polysomnography preferred.

Compensation:

Hourly Range – $25.09-$37.64

Incentives:

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

Bonus:

Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
