Job Title: Medical AssistantJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a dermatology clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and be available to work between the hours of 7 AM and 7 PM, for 8-9 hour shifts, 4-5 days per week. This position also requires availability for occasional Saturdays, once per month.Responsibilities

• Assist patients in person and over the phone
• Handle refill requests
• Manage fax authorizations
• Perform potential front desk duties
• Assist with 2-4 patients per hour

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred but not required
• Experience with NextGen or Modmed is ideal but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required

Work EnvironmentThe clinic primarily serves a Spanish-speaking population. Each provider sees 20-40 patients and there are two providers at this location. The team includes five Medical Assistants, including one lead MA. The clinic offers a supportive environment with opportunities to learn new skills and the potential for a permanent position.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
