We are recruiting for the role of Improvement Manager within the National Improvement Service.The National Improvement Service (NIS) focuses on supporting quality improvement in front-line work to help Cafcass provide an exceptional experience to children and young people. NIS activity consists of the following areas: Learning and development, quality assurance and auditing, commissioned support, multi-agency reviews and consultations. NIS will be part of a forthcoming consultation on practice arrangements that will further develop the described roles and responsibilities.This role is part of a team that works flexibly and remotely therefore your location isn’t a critical consideration. Key responsibilities include organizing training events, contributing to national and local quality improvement initiatives, providing support to Service Managers, analyzing data for practice development, and leading audits. The role also involves direct training delivery and collaboration within a national network to embed strategic development in local practice.… and who we’re looking for.We also think you for you to succeed and truly make a difference you should be someone who has;

  • Relevant Social Work qualification is essential
  • You must be registered with Social Work England regulator
  • You’ll ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children and families in a social work capacity
  • A track record of highly effective practice management or supervisory experience
  • Demonstrable experience of being a practice educator with the skills to continuously monitor, manage, develop and improve team and individual performance
  • Previous experience of quality assurance and auditing.
