(IND) Senior, Software Engineer

Position Summary…

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

What you’ll do…

What you’ll do:

• Architect and Develop end-end full stack applications in Javascript/Type script frameworks.  

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in developing responsive frontend applications. React, Angular with Typescript or javascript.

• Expertise in UI development using React or Angular.

• Hands on experience on popular coding languages including, React , Node JS , Type scripting, Javascript frameworks NestJS  

• Hands on experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment using Azure Kubernetes and Docker containers, looper, concord and jenkins. 

• Experience in creating technical design and architecture documents, review with various stakeholders for design and solution approval for implementation 

• Investigate cloud/infrastructure issues and raise with relevant teams for resolution.  

• Debugging of code and systems errors and triages problems to find solution using the application itself.  

• Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations 

• Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members. 

• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management. 

• Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. 

• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies 

• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures. 

• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop ideal business processes and automate manual work. 

• Understand Business processes/Problems and Propose Solutions. 

• Good understanding of business environment, excellent communication skill and ability to work proactively in a fast paced environment 

What you’ll bring:

Minimum qualifications:

• Min 6-10 years of work experience. 

• PG/Graduate in Computer Science Engineering / IT / MCA or related discipline. 

• Skills Required :  Java Springboot, Javascript/TypeScript Frameworks – React, NestJS, Node JS, Typescript, CICD Pipeline, Looper, Concord, Jenkins. 

• Cloud: Azure Cloud deployment, Azure Kubernetes Services, Docker, Custom Docker image implementation. 

• Telemetry Products: Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace. 

• Data Visualization and Analytics: PowerBI, Cosmos DB integration, Elasticsearch. 

Additional Qualifications:

• Large scale distributed systems experience, including scalability and fault tolerance.

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS

• A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate and optimize systems and tools.

• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Good understanding of metadata driven development

• Excellent problem solving, Critical and Analytical thinking skills.

Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 3years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
