Trintech is currently expanding its Software Engineering, Information Security, SaaS

Job Summary: Trintech’s IT & Information Security Intern is an individual contributor
position responsible for ensuring that Trintech maintains the most stringent of IT and
Cybersecurity principles through the adherence to our corporate policies.
Organization: The IT & Information Security Intern will report directly to the
Cybersecurity Engineer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Respond to internal product security engineering questions and requests
• Build and automate secure SDLC controls and best practices in an agile, CI/CD-focused
environment.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to help design secure products
• Perform and manage manual and automated vulnerability and penetration testing
• Work with developers to prioritize and remediate identified security vulnerabilities
• Lead efforts to implement and maintain security policies and remediation processes

• Balance security risk and product advancement within the parameters of the business
• Perform proactive research to detect new attack vectors
• Perform reactive incident response when a security event occurs
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage interruptions, and communicate effectively throughout
the process.
• Desire to further learn roles associated with IT, compliance, audit and/or Information
Security.
• Practical knowledge and experience with compliance and security framework standards
such as SOC, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA
• Capable of articulating general IT security policies, processes, and technical controls.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk management approaches and processes,
including proven implementation experience
• Advanced interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas, collaborate across teams and
influence stakeholders
• Ability to work well with other teams/functions with a positive attitude and respect.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Can think about problems from an out-of-the box perspective, doesn’t always default to
industry norms and textbook solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
• Security+, Associate of ISC2, Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), or equivalent
• Results-oriented, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Application Security tools (static code analysis, dynamic scanning, WAF,
etc.)
• Familiarity with technical security controls, guidelines, and frameworks outlined by
compliance standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001/27013, etc.
• Previous experience in a SaaS environment preferred
