The Project Manager will primarily work on one of our largest Innovation Initiatives called Methane Abatement in Maritime (MAMII). This multi-client project aims at mitigating methane emissions, coming from LNG-fueled ships, hence contributing to the decarbonisation of maritime shipping. We are addressing this key industry challenge in a collaborative way through technology acceleration, thought leadership and technology trials.This is a unique opportunity to get involved with an exciting mission-led technology and innovation venture and be a part of a talented and growing team, all whilst making a real difference by working for a non-profit with a purpose.The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, resilient, can-do, hands-on individual with a positive attitude, very organised and with an interest in technology innovation. The candidate is keen to support the smooth management of highly complex, multi-stakeholder projects with the view to have these projects renewed by existing and or joined by new clients.What we are looking for

  • Ensure the project is delivered in a timely manner and according to the workplan and budget, liaising with relevant colleagues to get the work done
  • Support the Delivery team on activities such as management of Work Packages, stakeholder management and insights gathering, contingency planning
  • Support/lead on the delivery of technology pilots/trials within this Innovation Initiatives, chairing weekly catch ups with clients and start-ups and ensuring the insights/knowledge shared are captured and stored on Sharepoint
  • Client facing activities such as supporting client meetings, steering group meetings and other internal project reviews with the Programme Director etc.
  • Design and deliver innovation and co-creation activities including organising events and workshops with the project stakeholders.

What You bring

  • Min 5-6 years of direct professional experience in technology innovation
  • Curiosity and good working knowledge of emerging tech
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Fluent in writing and reading English
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity
  • Self-starter, organised and efficient
  • Team player and does what it takes to lead the project to success
  • Experience in maritime, decarbonisation and other safety-critical industries would be a plus
  • Occasional work trips to meet up with stakeholders and attend events

  • This is a full time, permanent opportunity
  • Start: asap, but other arrangements can be discussed

  • Hybrid with a mix of remote and indicatively 2 days per week at 71 Fenchurch Street, London.
