Our agile and responsive support function is key to managing a variety of customer requirements.About the Role:As part of our large team of inspectors and QC inspectors, you’ll report to the Head of Inspections and play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards. You’ll learn to use our in-house system, CAMS, and handle estimates, authorisations, and upgrades. Building strong relationships with customers and making their experience enjoyable and efficient is essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and Apply Standards: Ensure accurate estimates for vehicle damage by understanding and applying contract standards.
- Timely Authorisations: Keep the workflow consistent by authorising tasks promptly.
- Customer Interaction: Discuss inspection standards and quality with internal and external customers.
- Team Collaboration: Develop professional and enjoyable relationships with team members.
- Solution-Oriented: Explain repair solutions to customers and support the development of new inspection technologies and processes.
- Adhere to HSE Policies: Always follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and understanding of repair methods.
- Vehicle Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle components, both car and commercial.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to engage confidently with team members at all levels.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to ever-changing technology and use your initiative.
- Team Player: Work effectively as part of a team to meet departmental demands.
- Time Management: Strong organisational skills to manage workload under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
