This is a full-time, salaried position with flexible hours during the week and primarily scheduled for weekends and evenings. As a vital member of our Code Compliance team, the Inspector, Code Compliance will play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of our community. This is a civilian position with a limited police commission responsible for performing education, inspection, investigation, and enforcement functions to ensure compliance with City Municipal Code, Land Use Code (LUC), regulations, and ordinances regarding right-of-way issues, nuisance concerns, and neighborhood livability issues within the City’s neighborhoods and commercial properties. This position is ideal for a candidate with at least three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for health and safety to bring their skills in enforcement and customer service to the City!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
