The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.ObjectivePrepare and execute OnBoard Signaling Electrical Installation Engineering (IE) activities in support of one or several Bid/Projects, in close cooperation with the Engineering and Installation teamEnsure delivery and quality of the documentation in compliance with M&U Signaling strategiesEnsure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standardsResponsibilitiesIn compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, he/she execute the IE studies and activities, in coordination with the Project Installation Manager, Site Operations Manager, Field Operation Manager and Installation Supervisors, including:Prepare and execute IE activities (Drawings, documentation, specification, Work Method Statement, etc.) in support of one or several Bids / ProjectsEnsure the deliverables are prepared in in accordance with the project execution requirements: customer, installation subcontractor, local regulation, etc.Support the Field team (Installation Supervisors, Sig Project Site Managers, Sig Installation team Leaders, etc.) to understand and review the deliverables and prepare design modification or change requests following inputs from siteReview the Civil interface drawings (e.g. Station building drawings, track layout drawings, etc.) and provide Sig equipment requirement for space allocation & applicable cable trunkingPrepare Installation material specifications & Installation BoQSupport the Project Installation Manager, Site Operations Manager, Field Operation Manager during the preparation of the Field quality dossier for HandoverPrepare as-built documentation and ensures conformity with as-installed configurationPerform Site Surveys during preparation and execution phase (if necessary)Liaise with BIM Coordinators and BIM Modelers to coordinate common IE studies and deliverablesEnsure application of Digital & Integrated Systems Installation and Field Operations Process for IE activitiesContinuous improvement:Contribute to best practices definition and REX within the Product LineParticipate to Process / “Metier” improvement workgroup when requested, to propose update/improvement of the IE way of working, process, tools and RefLibReport anomalies versus the reference library and / or the local standard and propose any improvement or evolutionEducational/Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in electrical or/and mechanical design or specialisation or oriented in system of production / method / industrial process.P.
