Job Summary
OSU -Cascades and the College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time 1.00 FTE , 9-month, fixed-term Instructor position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Dean of Academic Affairs.
This position is located in Bend, Oregon.
Appointment at the Instructor rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate.
This Instructor will teach undergraduate and graduate courses across programs within the College of Liberal Arts, advise and mentor students as needed, engage in the various programs, and provide service to the Program, School, College, and University in the form of committee work and participation in faculty meetings.

What You Will Need

A terminal degree within one of the fields under the College of Liberal Arts ( CLA )
-
Prior university teaching experience within CLA , post-terminal degree.

The capacity and willingness to teach across various disciplines within CLA .

What We Would Like You to Have

Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate CLA courses to students using both in-person and online modalities – commensurate with experience.

Interest in developing and teaching new undergraduate and graduate courses in CLA .

Experience with curricular design and development.

Evidence of effective communication skills.

Evidence of potential for effective service to the university and profession.
