exciting opportunity as an Instrumentation Technician with one of the nation’s
top full service industrial electrical contractors who designs, builds,
installs, and maintains their clients’ systems, projects, and facilities. They service a variety of industries across the nation including renewables, data centers, oil and
gas, food and beverage, manufacturing, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields to
name a few.
In this Direct Hire Instrumentation
Technician role, you will part of a fully vested on site team at one of the
main clients for this company who owns a manufacturing facility in Bedford Park,
running all instrumentation on their machinery. This is a 20+ year client
relationship that and an opportunity with a company that offers competitive
compensation, schedule that allows you take off 4-5 days in between scheduled
shifts, and a growth path for a long term career.

Instrumentation Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, test, measure
and repair all types of electrical controls, instruments and electronic
components for the manufacturing process - Perform preventative maintenance
of equipment and instrument calibrations - Provides
technical expertise to plant personnel during equipment problems, repair,
troubleshooting and during root cause investigations. - Configures Hart smart devices using a HART
communicator. - Maintains safe work environment and follows OSHA
regulations, LOTO policies, etc.
Schedule: 12 hour
shifts (7 AM- 7 PM) (4 on, 4 off, 3 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off)
Pay: $35-50/hour
Instrumentation Technician Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of
instrumentation experience in a manufacturing environment - Strong
experience calibrating, testing, and repairing electrical, mechanical and
hydraulic devices and equipment (temp, pressure, PH levels, etc) - Experience
configuring Hart smart devices using a HART communicator - Proficiency
with single and three phase motor and motor control systems - Ability to
install and troubleshoot PLCs, AC and DC drives
