Key Responsabilities

Our team has detailed documentation for available datasets. In this internship, the objective will be to implement a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) chatbot to improve the quality of the answer. 

Expected outcomes: 

• Existing datasets documentation is extended to include a list of keywords / topics. 

• Additional datasets that are needed have been created. For instance: A list of current customers, a list of various modules in SECO, etc. 

• For an incoming question in a “non-data-oriented language”, identify the most relevant datasets for answering it.  Example of such questions: 

1) “Is there some behavior change in AMEX agents lately?”  

2) “What happened to Expedia around June 2024?”  

3) “Is All Fares better performing since Oct? ” 

4) The chatbot is improved: the answers given are up to date and accurate. 

As an AI Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for the full data science process, with the support of DAN team and functional experts: 

• Understand business and functional objectives (What need to be achieved, what are the specificities and constraints, …) 

• Research state of the art for RAG 

• Understand available data and propose additional data to be logged if necessary 

• Propose KPIs and evaluation metrics that are interesting and can be computed 

• Implement changes to the chatbot 

• Design experiments (A/B tests, …) that will enable to conclude 

• Communicate results and value to business stakeholders 

• Propose possible evolutions 

Your Profile

We are looking for tech-passionate students in computer science with strong English skills. Ideal candidates have experience or knowledge with Scala, Python, Databricks, Spark, REST API,… Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus.
