Make a difference.Role OverviewThe investigation Tools is a suite of internal command line tools called by a legacy UI for conducting investigations, monitoring, recovery preparation linked to disruption activities. For example through this tool we can get FlightDate and reaccomodation information, flight cancellation, passengers rebooked, Schedule Loader batch reports and other useful information. Moreover it can be used to create recovery scripts.Your contribution during the internship will consist in revamping legacy UI in creating a brand new one using modern technological stacksKey ResponsibilitiesDuring your internship, you will:Understand the mission of the department, the role of the Disruption maintenance team and of the high level overview of the backends responsible for handling disruption flow;Familiarize with purpose and technical architecture of Disruption toolsUnderstand usage of actual legacy UI so new UI working on modern technological stacks will keep addressing team’s needsBuild new UI through delivery of different modules respecting high level requirements given by the teamBuild a testing framework for the UI to be sure new development won’t break existing featuresExplain progress of your work to team members and the rest of the departmentYour ProfileWe are looking for tech-passionate students in computer science with strong English skills. Ideal candidates have experience or knowledge in software development and are familiar with technologies like Angular, Typescript Python, Cloud, and Standard Template Library.
