Make a difference.Role OverviewThe Test & Platform Services (TPS) organization is in charge of ensuring the integrity, stability & usability of Test Systems for internal and external clients, with strict Service Level Targets (SLTs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to respect.It is composed of 3 global teams located worldwide (Sydney, Bangalore, Dubai, Erding, Nice, London, Ottawa, Bogota and Dallas), taking care of operations/change management on the Test Systems, the functional and response time monitoring, the incident & problem management and dedicated technical & functional support to our customers.Amadeus is currently engaged in a massive program to migrate all applications from the currentGermany-based data centre to Microsoft Azure.The Cloud migration program is now entering the critical deployment phase with many possible risksand issues, which makes it crucial for TPS department to be efficient in maintaining the stability & usability of Test Systems, thus shielding Production as well, throughout the migration.Key ResponsibilitiesDuring your internship, you will design and make evolve a modular, configurable and evolutive assistant to:Guide incident managers through the incident management steps (automated or manually triggered), including but not limited to:– Log gathering from multiple sources– Change detection / identification (software loads, configuration changes, trafiic switches to Azure)– Diagnosis to provide recovery recommendations or direct actions– Automated recovery actions– Group chat creation with all stakeholders– Chatbot for incident management– Quality checks (data consistency and accuracy) on Incident Records (properly documented until recovery)– Incident knowledge database population (ex: save the chats/notes, record content, labels)– Automatic preparation of handovers between shifts (ex: gather relevant information, set priorities and due dates, based on time zones, …)Analyse how the incident management process is being applied to improve it (build a dashboard)– Assess the adequation between the resources versus workload per time zone– Measure the adherence to the process– Track the KPIs of incident management (lead times, record updated properly)– Send alerts when deviating from norm or SLTs are being overshot– Provide recommendations on process optimization or outlier reductionYour ProfileWe are looking for tech-passionate students in computer science with strong English skills.
