  • The Internal Control team, in charge of ensuring the Internal Control System is well deployed, in particular performing recurring permanent controls;
  • The Financial Security team, in charge of the definition and supervision of the AML/CFT system and performs enhanced investigations in case of suspicion (level 2);
  • The Regulatory team, in charge of remaining compliant with any applicable law and regulation at any time;
  • The Risk team, in charge of monitoring and managing Qonto’s risk at any level.

As an Internal Control – Project Manager, you are a key member of our Internal Control team who drives critical projects that enhance our operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» As an Internal Control – Project Manager at Qonto, you will

  • Lead and coordinate multiple compliance projects with a strong focus on the Operations department;
  • Support other departments in the implementation of internal control recommendations, ensuring timely and effective adoption;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Operations department to drive change and improve processes;
  • Develop and maintain project management standards that align with Qonto’s growth and regulatory requirements.

With close to 10 years of experience in Internal Control, Compliance Advisory, and Risk Management within the Banking sector. She is leading as a Head of Internal Control a growing team of fifteen talented people who provide an insightful & positive approach daily to always get better at Qonto.What can they bring to the team? Upon joining Qonto, Julia set up a consistently positive perspective on Internal Control, combining continuous improvement with pragmatic management of Qonto’s risks. She will be the perfect manager to help you grow and perform your job in a constructive & skillful way.πŸ…About You

  • Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in consulting firms with a focus on compliance advisory
  • Expertise: Strong project management skills with a track record of driving change and implementing controls
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and control topics in the financial sector
  • Data-driven: Proficiency in using data to inform decision-making and improve processes
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across various departments
  • Languages: You are fluent in English. Another European language (French, Spanish, Italian, German) is a definite plus;
