Job DescriptionJob ID: 249181Date posted: 19/07/2024We are looking to welcome new Inventory Co-Workers to join our Fulfilment Integration Team at Nottingham.We’re the team behind the scenes that make the IKEA products available to the many people. As a diverse mix of co-workers we use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs. We’re passionate about working together to improve the customer experience at IKEA!Expected Starting Date: 7th AugustWHAT WE OFFER:

  • £12 hourly rate with nightshift allowance of £2.25 up to 6am.
  • Living Wage Foundation Employer
  • 20 hours weekly, working 4 days out of 7 per week & 3 out of 4 weekends per month.
  • Working between 4am – 10am
  • Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to change priority and direction at short notice
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Numerate and literate and has basic Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Previous experience of WMS and/or Distribution Systems would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of MHE i.e. Reach, Scissor lift, Counterbalance would be an advantage

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Responsible for physical stock taking by:

– Carrying out actual physical stock counting in the correct way
– Registering counted quantities
– Analyzing stock taking results and sending them to ISAG every tertial under the legal document DSP

  • Must set a definite time frame for completion of the stock taking (yearly PI)
  • Take responsibility for teamwork and support your colleagues
  • Communicate effectively within your team
  • With your personal behavior you contribute to a better working environment (respect others)
  • Take an active part in the development of operational processes
  • Collect and file operational data
