A family-owned West Seattle company that specializes in window coverings is looking for an
Inventory Receiving Associate
to join their shipping and receiving department. You’ll be responsible for receiving product from distributors, assessing for damage, and inputting data into Excel. Eventually, you’ll round out your skillset by training into the hardware department, where you’ll assist in putting together custom orders to be shipped out! This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to be a part of a tight knit team where every day looks different, and everyone chips in to ensure a great customer experience!

Inventory Receiving Associate Duties:

• Receiving inbound product shipments from distributors
• Assessing product for quality and potential damage, taking note of defective product
• Entering inventory information into Excel
• Using Outlook for communications
• Using power tools to assemble custom order hardware
• Other projects as assigned

Inventory Receiving Associate Requirements:

• 1-2 years receiving or inventory management experience
• Experience with MS Excel and Outlook
• Willingness to learn and use power tools for assembly (previous experience or hobby work is a plus!)
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly, bend, twist, and stoop with long, awkward boxes
• Ability to climb step stools and safety ladders

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM

Pay:

• $21-$25 per hour
