This would suit an ambitious individual who is looking to move into a role where they can grow and gain a multitude of new skills and really learn how the business operates. You will be the eyes and ears for the team you are working closely with, soaking up a wealth of knowledge. You will have the ability to be both responsive and pro-active in this busy role.Role purposeThe Business Manager will play a vital role in supporting strategic initiatives, enhancing productivity and building growth. They will be responsible for facilitating cross-business collaboration and communication. The ideal candidate will have good business acumen and organisation skills, strong presentation abilities, and advanced data analysis skills.What this job involves:Strategic planning & project management support

  • Assisting in developing and implementing the EMEA IPS business strategies and metrics to achieve defined goals and improve overall performance. Revisiting these regularly and evaluating short- and long-term progress.
  • Provide financial management support, including financial forecasts and reporting. Assess risk and identify opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to review key performance indicators, utilizing data to drive progress and implement necessary changes.
  • Ensure effective meeting governance & preparation: managing the cadence and output from meetings and touchpoints with regional & global IPS leadership team and other key stakeholders.
  • Help represent and report on regional IPS initiatives at the global IPS strategic board level.

Operational support

  • Performance monitoring and reporting, includes tracking and analysing KPI’s and providing regular reports to leadership. Make data driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities and implement best practices. Includes, leveraging wider JLL business, supporting sales and business development, embedding training programmes and improving operational efficiency.

Required experience and skills:

  • Experience in business administration, management or related
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good project management experience.
  • Financial acumen and analytical skills: ideally proficient in creating data-driven reports and presenting data insights effectively using tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and manage complex projects across multiple services and geographies.
  • Ability to collate and extrapolate relevant data (industry dynamics, market trends, competition) to help inform strategic business planning.
