Responsibilities You will review and analyze National Defense and Joint resource directives and guidance in cybersecurity architectural implementations. You will develop policy and procedures for the secure implementation of information technology solutions. You will coordinate and integrate project activities including schedules and life cycle project plans. You will develop policy, programs, and guidelines for implementation and analyze organizational cyber policy. You will interpret and apply applicable laws, statutes, and regulatory documents and integrates into policy. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: apply IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices and IT policies or programs. Experience in interrelationships of multiple IT specialties; the IT architecture; new IT developments and applications; emerging technologies and their applications to business processes; IT security concepts. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Education Additional Information This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Security Architect and Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner, proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
