Summary: The IT Director will serve as a key strategic leader within Dunmore’s senior management team, driving digital transformation initiatives while overseeing the Information Technology department. Combining strategic business management with hands-on technical expertise, this role will architect and implement a scalable, secure, and efficient technology roadmap that enhances Dunmore’s competitive advantage. Reporting directly to the CFO, the IT Director will play a critical role in aligning technology investments with business objectives, leading major IT infrastructure upgrades and digital initiatives. This position offers significant opportunities for executive leadership development through strategic decision-making, C-suite collaboration, and direct influence on Dunmore’s future growth. Strong business acumen, strategic vision, and technical depth will be essential to deliver transformative results that drive operational excellence and value creation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation & Strategy
Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including the evaluation and implementation of key manufacturing systems like MES
Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategy and implementation roadmap
Direct cybersecurity strategy with particular focus on IT/OT convergence
Drive emerging technology adoption to maintain competitive advantage and improve productivity
Evaluate emerging technologies to keep Dunmore at the forefront of industry advancements, focusing on tools that improve productivity and scalability.
Technology Operations & Governance
Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery across all business units
Establish and monitor IT KPIs and strategic roadmap progress
Manage IT budget and investments to ensure maximum business value
Develop and maintain IT governance framework and compliance requirements
Lead complex technology projects from planning through implementation
Ensure robust cybersecurity practices across all technology domains
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Build and mentor high-performing IT team driving innovation and operational excellence.
Foster cross-functional partnerships to identify and implement technology solutions that drive business value
Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology initiatives with strategic objectives
Provide hands-on technical leadership in key areas including process engineering, systems integration, and database management
Requirements
Technical Expertise:
Proven experience leading enterprise systems integration and digital transformation initiatives
Deep expertise in IT/OT convergence, including integration of manufacturing and automation systems
Strong background in cloud architecture and migration strategies for industrial settings
Advanced experience in ata architecture, ETL processes, data warehouse implementation, and business intelligence solutions
Strong expertise in enterprise integration and API management
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements for manufacturing

Track record of strategic technology leadership and value creation
Experience managing significant technology investments and delivering ROI
Strong business acumen with ability to translate technology into business value
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
Proven experience in IT management , with the ability to manage and mentor diverse IT professionals.
Experience in optimizing supply chain operations through technology solutions
Ability to clearly convey information and ideas to various stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
Proven experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI) and core applications. Salesforce experience is a plus.
Extensive experience integrating engineering systems, business systems, and supply chain technologies
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
Relevant certifications in IT governance, project management, or systems integration are a plus.
Physical Demands – Office / Travel:
Travel by air, rail, auto: 10% of time
Work in manufacturing area, QA lab, and office areas at all locations
