IT Manager in Houston, Texas

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the companys IT operations, managing the IT team, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
o Lead and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
o Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
o Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
Technical Oversight:
o Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
o Ensure the security of the companys IT infrastructure, including data protection and disaster recovery plans.
o Manage network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
Project Management:
o Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related purchases and services.
o Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
o Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Support and Troubleshooting:
o Manage IT helpdesk system
o Manage IT procurement and strategic vendors
o Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
o Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure they are properly documented.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
Microsoft Certified professional, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
ITL framework and Cybersecurity experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure with Microsoft 365, cloud-based systems, and related best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Acumatica, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SharePoint, MS Teams, One drive, MS office, NIST Cybersecurity framework,
Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP.
