Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an IT Manager in the Manufacturing industry located in Union City, California. This role encompasses a focus on Network Infrastructure and Security within the manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the company’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect the organization’s data and sensitive information.
• Collaborate with different teams to understand their technology needs and implement IT solutions accordingly.
• Evaluate and manage the implementation of ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Continuously monitor and upgrade IT systems to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular system audits and software performance analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors and external parties to negotiate and procure IT hardware and software.
• Lead IT projects to improve the company’s technology infrastructure and performance. Requirements • Candidate must possess a strong understanding of Cyber Security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft products, including but not limited to, Office Suite, Windows Server, and Azure.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is a must.
• The ability to manage, lead, and develop an IT team effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle IT related issues.
• Proven track record in project management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to design and execute strategic plans for the IT department.
• Knowledge of data center management and data governance.
• Familiarity with IT budgeting and cost management.
• Proven ability to implement IT policies and best practices.
• Experience with IT risk management and cyber security compliance.
• Familiarity with manufacturing industry standards and technology trends. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
