Job Summary/objective
IT Manager at the U.S. Army Garrison Kwajalein Atoll (USAG-KA) Reagan Test Site (RTS) in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. This position requires the management of a secure network of computers at the weather station on Kwajalein Island.
This position requires relocation to Kwajalein Island. Due to limited housing, this position is unaccompanied. The IRS considers Kwajalein as overseas employment, and employees will receive significant tax benefits. RedTown Technical Services, LLC will pay for relocation to Kwaj, and offers a competitive benefits package and wages including paid holidays and vacation and the following company-paid benefits for employee coverage:
Kwajalein Island is like a small town, with some limitations. For example, although there are medical facilities there, they are not comprehensive. All candidates must be in good physical condition such as to not require routine, extensive medical treatment. Kwajalein Island has a population of about 1500 people, with a broad range of activities available ranging from water sports such as scuba diving, sailing, and fishing to a variety of local clubs and organizations.
