Be humble.Who we’re looking for: We’re hiring someone who is:💫 Ready to join a growing team💫 Passionate about data💫 Up-to-date with the latest industry news and developments💫 Organized, autonomous, and a team player!As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and supporting our employees with their IT needs. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the security of our network, managing equipment, and assisting with the onboarding and integration of new employees.🦸 Responsibilities:IT Park Management at DataGalaxy:
- Tracking and Purchasing Equipment: (computers, headsets, mice, USB drives, etc.). Establishing a written procedure and an approval workflow.
- Hardware Maintenance: Maintaining the IT park (repairs, RAM upgrades) and implementing a tracking procedure.
- User Support: Providing user assistance, remote access support, and managing the helpdesk ticketing tool.
Network Management:
- Infrastructure Configuration and Monitoring: Setting up and monitoring network infrastructure.
- Participating in IT Projects: Involvement in projects like SD-WAN deployment, firewall upgrades, or network infrastructure renewal at our sites.
- Network Security: Ensuring the security of the network.
Software Management for the Group:
- License Comparison, Acquisition, and Administration: Managing software licenses.
- User Support for Effective Tool Usage: Assisting users in effectively using the tools.
- Conducting “Best Practices” Sessions: Organizing sessions on best practices for each key tool.
Security and Team Awareness:
- Planning and Conducting Cybersecurity Awareness Campaigns: Raising awareness about cybersecurity.
- Phishing Campaigns: Planning and executing phishing campaigns.
- Monitoring Network Security: Overseeing the network security of DataGalaxy’s systems.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Onboarding Management: Preparing workstations and equipment, granting access, and coordinating internal communication (with managers, HR, etc.).
- Process Automation: Automating processes.
- Offboarding Management: Recovering equipment, obtaining signed disclaimers, and coordinating internal communication.
Notion Documentation:
- Maintaining Up-to-Date IT Documentation: Keeping IT processes documented and current.
- Creating User Guides and Manuals: Developing guides and manuals for users (software and hardware).
- Documenting IT Support Knowledge Base (KB): Maintaining the knowledge base related to IT support.
🌟 Profile:
- Knowledge of Equipment Management: Familiarity with managing IT equipment and assets, including setup, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of IT Problem Solving: Basic knowledge of IT issues related to hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity. Ability to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions.
- Network and Cybersecurity Awareness: Basic understanding of network infrastructure and cybersecurity principles. Awareness of common security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experience with Windows and macOS environments, and basic Linux knowledge is beneficial.
- Fluent in English
