Key Responsibilities:
Policy Management:
Develop, establish, and implement IT policies and standards.
Ensure alignment of IT policies with organizational goals.
Document changes, ideas, and feedback related to IT policies and standards.
Governance Body Management:
Lead and manage governing bodies like Governance Committees, Steering Committees, and Change Advisory Boards.
Facilitate structured meetings, capturing and documenting inputs for IT policies and standards.
Ensure efficient collaboration and communication with IT leadership and teams.
Cross-Functional Engagement:
Engage with various stakeholders, including IT Architecture, IT Compliance, and other IT teams.
Manage feedback, requests, and inputs to improve IT policies and processes.
Drive alignment and improvement within IT governance and policy frameworks.
Administrative & Collaboration Tools:
Use collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Power BI) to manage tasks, share information, and collaborate across teams.
Schedule meetings and manage communication with stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Support:
Facilitate process improvements and ensure effective policy and standards management.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance the value of IT Governance and Risk practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
IT Governance & Risk Knowledge:
Experience and understanding of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practices.
Familiarity with governance structures and methodologies (e.g., risk management, policy compliance).
Tools & Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira.
Experience with creating content in SharePoint and Confluence (e.g., posts, pages, libraries).
Minor technical knowledge across multiple IT domains to support understanding of IT standards.
Communication & Collaboration:
Articulate and strong written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience leading meetings, facilitating discussions, and working with senior IT leadership.
Project Management & Organization:
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a remote environment.
Solid time management skills, ability to work independently, and work calmly under pressure.
Additional Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
A self-starter with a solid work ethic, adaptability, and integrity.

Our Vision for the role:
We are looking for an IT Risk & Compliance Analyst to supplement our IT Governance team.
A successful Analyst can work effectively with a variety of stakeholders across the IT organization, interfacing and engaging in a multitude of ways in a remote and non-remote environment.
This person will regularly engage with IT Architecture, IT Compliance, IT Governance Risk and Compliance in an enhanced capacity to support governance activities, process improvement and alignment with IT Policies.
This person will facilitate and engage with the broader IT organization to capture feedback, document and record changes, ideas, requests and inputs into the IT Policies & IT Standards process.
The Analyst will manage and facilitate several of our Governing bodies across IT and helping to drive improvement, alignment and drive value with key senior IT Leadership.
The Analyst must be able to use standard collaboration and communication tools in a moderately advanced manner to effectively engage with stakeholders, prioritize efforts, document processes and share information. Example tools include; Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Excel, Power BI.
A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently in an organized manner. Communication is key, not only to group internal coworkers, but to all relevant stakeholders across the organization. Candidate will demonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressure and appropriately take care of rapid changes to required activities and timelines.
The Analyst will use Communication/Collaboration tools and skills to increase engagement and interaction in the IT Policy & IT Standards space. Help the IT Organization understand the value of IT Governance. Ensure alignment and appropriate prioritization of efforts across multiple groups within IT.
The Qualifications and Skills that will make you successful:
Aptitude for IT Risk & Compliance concepts and methodologies
Experience using Microsoft Tools, such as; SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, Project, Planner (preferred)
Creating posts, pages, libraries, discussions within MS SharePoint & Confluence (preferred)
Minor Technical knowledge across multiple IT Domains
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Conceptual understanding of IT Standards & IT Policies
Knowledge in Governance practices and methodologies
strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Good work ethic, time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to work in a remote setting.

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience
