We operate in 9+ geographies across the UK, EU and the US.We believe that the future of financial services will be delivered by customer-oriented tech companies that embed financing in their customer journeys, and we are building the solutions that will power that future.The RoleTo meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we currently have newly created role in our Internal IT team for highly-motivated IT Support Infrastructure Engineer, who is excited about leveraging technology and design to deliver meaningful business outcomes for our internal stakeholders.The role will be as part of a small team of IT Support professionals supporting YouLend.Requirements
- You will play a key role in maintaining office IT hardware and end user application support, networking, office infrastructure resilience, offboarding and onboarding of all new employees from an IT perspective.
- Furthermore, you will also work closely with the Head of Internal IT, Head of Cyber Security, and CTO to make sure cyber and physical security is appropriate.
- Communication is vital in this role, as you will be liaising with stakeholders across the business, including overseas.
- Support for both internal and external audits are also within scope.
Essential:
- Cloud App/Infrastructure Support: A minimum of 5 years of experience configuring and supporting cloud-based environment, ideally in the financial services sector, with a focus on time-sensitive operations requiring maximum availability.
- Azure and Entra Management: Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra, including Identity and Access Management, conditional access policy management.
- Device Management: Proven expertise in configuring, managing and troubleshooting Windows and Mac/iOS devices.
- Intune Expertise: Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Intune, including device configuration, management, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting within a corporate setting.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint management, as well as experience with Defender for threat hunting and vulnerability management.
- Cloud telephony/VoIP System Configuration: Hands-on experience in setting up and managing phone systems.
- Network and Wi-Fi Security: Strong knowledge of corporate Wi-Fi setup, security best practices, and experience with firewall and switch configuration.
- Office Network Setup: Proven ability to set up and manage network infrastructures in large office environments, including Ethernet cabling and network troubleshooting.
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) Adherence: Demonstrated ability to meet SLAs while delivering exceptional end-user support and experience.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborative Approach: A team player who can work effectively with a diverse range of users and teams, adapting to various needs and perspectives.
- Excellent Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, document knowledge, and listen effectively.
- Cybersecurity Best Practices: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, essential for maintaining security and compliance in a fintech environment.
Minimum Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
- CompTIA Network+ certification (or similar)
- Compliance Standards: Experience in maintaining environments aligned with ISO27001 or Cyber Essentials standards.
