IMEDIATE HIRE NEEDED – salary $45K to 55K per year/$22 to $26 per hour- PART TIMW/FULL TIME AVAILABLE

ABCO Maintenance is a full-service commercial facility maintenance/construction company that has been serving the Tri-State area for 35+ years. We are actively recruiting an onsite IT Support Professional to join the team at our Staten Island location.

Responsibilities:

  • Under indirect supervision, installs, maintains, tests, and repairs; end user systems, conferencing AV equipment and VOIP phones.

  • Provides support to on-site and remote employees – including maintenance technicians

  • Find fixes, workarounds, and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exceptional technical service.

  • Must be technically capable and an initiator.

  • Other responsibilities include but are not limited too

  • Install and configure hardware and software

  • Respond in timely manner to requests or incidents

  • Repair or replace equipment as needed

  • Provide onsite support to end users

  • Setup up and mail workstations for new hires, and consultants

  • Assist in new hire IT training for basic IT requirements of end users

  • High Attention to Detail

  • Heavy end user support of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Heavy end user support of Google apps (Drive, Docs)

  • Troubleshoot VOIP phones (Dialpad)

  • Be able to create Forms, (Jotforms, Doforms)

  • Maintain Office 365 Admin portal, and Google Admin Portal

  • Assist techs remotely with cell phone issue

This position is onsite in Staten Island, NY

Position Requirements

  • Must report daily to Staten Island, NY

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and software

  • Familiarity with backups and data integrity for a Windows environment

  • Familiarity with basic server maintenance for a Windows environment

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment with multiple high-level priorities

  • Strong customer service mentality

  • Experience with MS Office applications

  • Experience with Google apps (Google Drive, etc.)

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a help desk role

  • Good employment track record
