IT Support Technician in Bloomington, Minnesota

Description

Robert Half has been engaged by a client in the manufacturing industry to identify their next IT Support Technician. In this role, you will be a key player ensuring the steady functioning of IT systems and the provision of technical support to their internal teams. We are looking for someone who exhibits independence, motivation, and reliability. This is a direct hire, ONSITE role in Bloomington, MN.

Responsibilities:

-Deliver prompt and efficient technical support to end-users for hardware and software-related issues.

-Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, while forwarding larger issues to the appropriate team when necessary.

-Installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripheral devices.

-Assist in the establishment and ongoing care of network infrastructure.

-Manage and terminate network cables, making sure that installation and organization are to standard.

-Regularly conduct system audits to ensure security and adherence to compliance.

-Document and maintain the records of all IT support activities and established solutions.

Requirements

-At least 2+ years of IT Support experience

-Proven knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software.

-Ability to work independently and take initiative.

-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

-Experience with network infrastructure and cable installation.

-Exceptional strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
