We are seeking a Jr. Software Engineer for a mechanical and industrial engineering company in Goshen, IN. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in IT, coding, and software design while also possessing basic engineering principles and problem-solving abilities. The company is experiencing significant growth and needs a motivated entry-level engineer who can contribute immediately to software and PCB design.Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with both new and existing customers regarding new projects.

• Work closely with the small internal team to collaborate on designs and software solutions.

• Design and layout circuit boards for new projects.

• Develop and test coding projects, test fixtures, and software as needed.

• Update existing projects based on new test data and performance analysis.

• Develop prototype enclosures and other components using 3D printing, CNC, and additional fabrication techniques.

• Test and debug high-level failures and returns to ensure product reliability.

Requirements:

• Experience in Coding and Software Design.

• Experience in designing and laying out circuit boards.

Additional Information:

• Strong IT/coding background is required.

• Engineering principles and reasoning skills are essential.

• The company does not have time to provide extensive training on software design, so prior knowledge is necessary.
