Junior CopywriterWorking half the time at our iconic office in King’s Cross, London, and the other half from homeYour new role at NewDayWe’re growing our inhouse agency and we’re now looking for a Junior Copywriter to help us deliver phenomenal creative across our range of brands. Working closely with the IHA team, you’ll write impactful copy across a variety of channels including social, email, DM and web. You will be excited by getting close to the strategy and broadening your experience of the marketing funnel. You’ll be passionate about distinctive tone of voice and be able to leverage great creative examples and insight from your day-to-day life. Working closely with designers you will create clear, concise and exciting communications that help solve customer problems.Day to day, this role will lead:
- Supporting the copy team in the delivery of excellent copy across brand, product, customer and performance channels
- Working closely with product owners and marketing managers to improve customer experiences and outcomes
- Collaborating with designers on ideating creative concepts that solve customer problems
- Leading your own briefs, presenting work to senior stakeholders and internal ‘customers’
You’ll deliver
- Excellent copy across a range of channels and brands, on time and to budget
- Support in the maintenance of the copy library, cataloguing all copy and maintaining our house style guide
- Elevated customer experiences, with consideration for improving E2E messaging
What you’ll bringWe need knowledge, experience & expertise in:
- Delivering clear, persuasive and engaging copy, fit for channel, brand and audience. Experience of writing copy across a range of channels and touchpoints
- A creative thinker- you’ll be able to work in collaboration with a designer to come up with creative concepts and bring ideas to life
- A passion to learn about the legal, regulatory and customer responsibilities a financial services company holds
- Enthusiasm, initiative and strong communication skills – you’ll love working as part of a team, but also able to make progress against deadlines alone. You’ll be able to work across multiple projects at once, keeping track and communicating progress.
And would love you to know or learn:
- An interest or experience in marketing, brand development or customer research – but this can be learnt on the job.
