We achieve these objectives by helping governments design and implement strategic, evidence-based policies that enhance public governance, trust in government, and democracy, responding effectively to various challenges.Within GOV, the Innovative, Digital and Open Government Division (GOV/INDIGO) is committed to advancing people-centred governance by collaborating with countries and a broad network of partners to drive public sector innovation. The Division identifies, collects, maps, and analyses best practices across governments, offering guidance on creating, implementing, sustaining, evaluating, and scaling innovative approaches. Its work spans several key areas, including innovation governance, digital transformation, behavioural science, government data, AI in the public sector, public services, government foresight, citizen participation, open government, communication, and civic space. Through this approach, GOV/INDIGO helps governments become more agile, transparent, and responsive to the needs of their citizens.GOV/INDIGO is seeking experienced and motivated Junior Policy Analysts to contribute to one or more of its key areas. The selected candidates will have a strong track record in conducting comparative policy analysis, as well as designing and implementing innovative projects in government.
