Junior Supervisor

The Roads & Grounds Department is tasked with executing all activities related to roads and grounds within the CNL Site.The Junior Supervisor will effectively lead and supervise employees through direction provided by a qualified Job Supervisor. Accountable to their work group manager, the Junior Supervisor assists the Job Supervisor in ensuring equipment, resources, and support groups are operated and maintained in compliance with CNL’s procedures and regulatory guidelines.Additionally, the Junior Supervisor will uphold management’s expectations for safe work practices, address performance and time management issues, and enforce consequences for not adhering to safe work practices at job sites.Working under the guidance of a Job Supervisor, the Junior Supervisor will ensure completion of all paperwork, adherence to procedures, and compliance with safety regulations. They will also provide planning, oversight, and support for both routine and non-routine work activities to maintain the structures and operating systems of the Facility.What will you be doing!Oversight and Execution of Site Operations:

Experience:A minimum of 2 years’ of related technical or maintenance experience and demonstration of strong leadership skills is required. Experience in roads & grounds would be an asset.Education:Completion of Secondary School diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.Security Clearance Requirements:Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom.Why CNL?Does working with a team across Canada to advance nuclear science and technology for a clean and secure world speak to you?
