Junior Talent SourcerWorking at our iconic office in King’s Cross, London, and virtually via Microsoft TeamsYour new role at NewDayAt NewDay, we’ve built a successful direct sourcing team which delivers fantastic talent into our business without relying on recruitment agencies. This newly created role will further support our mission, driving diverse candidate slates, sourcing top talent and reducing our time to hire.Whether it’s creative, out-of-the-box outreach sent from our hiring channels or nurturing the talent pool of candidates we’ve sparked relationships with previously, you’ll partner closely with the team to provide a shortlist of highly qualified and engaged candidates at the top-of-funnel for a multitude of roles.In 0-12 months you’ll deliver

  • Candidates for specific roles and pipelining future talent through a variety of channels (primarily LinkedIn and Otta), using creative and effective outreach
  • Enthusiastic representation of NewDay in Talent Interviews, getting to know candidate motivations and background and assessing their suitability for a role at NewDay
  • An in-depth understanding of the technical skills and behaviours required to thrive at NewDay, ensuring we are aligned with the business strategy
  • (Support the Senior Talent Sourcer with) recruitment marketing initiatives aligned to pipeline needs but also immediate vacancies
  • Innovative and effective recruitment methods to continue attraction of talent, sharing knowledge across the team and supporting us our positioning as a destination employer

What you’ll bringWe need knowledge, experience + expertise in:

  • In-house and/or recruitment agency role(s) in a delivery or research capacity with experience on sourcing for both tech and non tech roles
  • Awareness of sourcing trends, keeping up to date with new and effective ways of engaging and delivering an outstanding candidate experience to top, diverse talent
  • Understanding and utilising data to inform search and talent acquisition processes
  • A genuine passion for building fantastic relationships with both candidates and colleagues to deliver excellent results
  • A growth mindset – committed to constantly raising the bar
  • An ability to navigate all aspects of LinkedIn recruiter with ease
  • The capability to write complex Boolean strings to uncover niche, untouched talent for NewDay
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changes in process quickly
