Job Title: KDB Developer (Fixed Income Trading)Pay Rate: £750 – £800/day
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: London
Work Mode: Remote (with occasional travel to Sheffield/London)We’re looking for a skilled KDB Developer experienced in fixed income trading to join our client team. This role offers flexible working arrangements and a chance to contribute to cutting-edge financial solutions.Responsibilities:

• Use the KDB framework to automate and improve trading processes.
• Resolve real-time issues for traders and analysts.
• Develop new features for data analytics and support trading desks.
• Maintain tools for a sophisticated trading platform.
• Automate tasks across global teams for efficiency.
• Collaborate with traders and analysts to deliver effective solutions.
• Work with development teams for optimal system design and deployment.
• Take ownership of problem-solving until resolution.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Proficient in KDB and Q language for managing time series data.
• Experience implementing end-to-end KDB solutions, including Infrastructure as Code.
• Design experience with KDB systems.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products and markets.
• Advisory-level guidance on KDB implementations.
• Experience in optimizing system capacity and operability.
• Familiarity with automating delivery processes and building resilient platforms.
