Kitchen Porter

Job Introduction

As a Kitchen Porter at Ward WO’s & SGTs’ Mess, Ward Barracks, Bulford, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP4 9NA, You’ll be one of the key catering staff, without you.. we cant run our kitchens efficiently.

What you’ll do:

• Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
• Work closely with the chefs and larger catering team, to ensure the running of kitchen and dining facilities is efficient and smooth
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly, and report any faults to your line manager
• Assist with deliveries, replenishing stock and its rotation
• Waste disposal in a safe, thorough, timely manner

What you bring:

• Basic food-handling knowledge
• A good sense personal and environmental safety
• Willing to learn new skills and gain experience whilst in the role
• No previous work experience required

Package Description

• 37.5 hours per week
• Shift pattern/ hours – 5 days out of 7 per week
• Early Shift 06:30 – 14:30
• Late Shift 11:30 – 19:30
• Optional Over time Availible
• £11.44 per hour
• There is free on site parking, bus routes available, you will be also be working along side and amazing team, with friendly customers.
