Laborer – Grinder

A fabrication manufacturing company in Burleson is adding an experienced Laborer to their team! This company was founded in 1951. Over the decades they have expanded through machining, fabrication, forging, casting, and powdered metal technology. They manufacture and supply power transmission components, industrial hand tools, and material handling products.?

This is a full-time, temp to hire position that offers a comprehensive benefits package and ample opportunities for growth and development. An added bonus, they encourage a culture of team work through employee engagement.

As a Grinder/Finisher, you’ll collaborate closely with other teams to understand processes and procedures. In this role, you will perform precision smoothing, sharpening, polishing and grinding on a variety of welding projects.

Perfect for someone who is attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a heart for seeing the finished product.

Grinder/Finisher Job Duties:

• Using a Handheld grinder to shape metal parts
• Setting up and operating grinding machine on surface of metal
• Follow safety protocols when with heavy machinery
• Standing, kneeling, stooping and bending for extended periods of time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Pay: $17.00 – $ 18.00

Grinder/Finisher Requirements:

• At least 2 years of Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Have prior experience in an outdoor environment
• Consistently stand for the entire 8-hour shift
• Detail-oriented and able to adapt to changing production demands
• Ability to work with others and be a team player
