Our fleet has grown to include more than 30,5000 special purpose tank and freight cars. Procor also operates 28 repair locations servicing the petroleum, petrochemicals, plastics, chemicals, fertilizers and food markets.The Labourer will perform work on a variety of rail car types as necessary while working inside, outside, on top of, and underneath the car.

• Assist in the preparation of rail cars for repair
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including Responsible Care Policy
• Read, comprehend, and follow repair orders and procedures
• Other related duties as assigned

The normal work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm, however this schedule may change as business requirements dictate.Competencies:

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Mechanical aptitude
• WHMIS training, experience dealing with hazardous commodities.
• Detail oriented
• Excellent time management skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Strong initiative
• Valid driver’s license
• Adheres to Procor’s health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy), and wears the required PPE for the job in a safe manner
