- Ideal for individuals who like collaborating with various teams, this role focuses on relationship building, offering consultative solutions for issue resolution, and conducting training and demos to promote the advantages of data governance throughout CPP Investments.
- Manage the change management process for Data Governance initiatives like the newly implemented Data Governance Scorecard that is used to assess maturity level of department data products, and the new training program (releasing in Fall / Winter 2024).
- Accountable for maintaining the Data Governance Standard, as well as organizing roadshows for stakeholders to communicate updates and changes.
- Generate insights using Data Governance metrics that can provide value to departments and data consumers.
- Provide consultation to business and tech groups to advance their data products’ maturity and improve experience for data users.
- Oversee Data Governance communication contents such as reports, monthly newsletters to stakeholders, and maintaining the new Data Governance site with recent updates on Data Governance activities
- Regularly connect with business partners to build strong relationships, comprehend their data challenges, and collaborate with tech teams for solutions.
- Work with the vendor data team to develop standards for vendor datasets.

Qualifications
- Experience in data governance, including metadata management, data quality, data access, ownership, and reporting.
- Experience in working with diverse set of stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
- Experience in project management, change management, and consulting.
- Experience working with SQL and Python
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau and QuickSight.
- Experience working with AWS services such as Glue and Athena.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge in data lifecycle, including data modeling design, metadata, and data quality.
- Commitment to CPP Investment’s guiding principles of integrity, partnership, and high performance
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in engineering, business and finance.
