- Design leadership: partner with product managers to validate opportunities with customers, define requirements, prototype interactions, and translate insights into impactful designs. Lead the end-to-end design process, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals. Apply a deep understanding of user experience principles to push the boundaries of what’s possible while maintaining usability.
- Ownership of our design system: structure, maintain, and evolve our internal design system, ensuring consistency and scalability in design practices.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and user-centric products. Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle and contribute to strategic decision-making at both the product and executive levels.
- Mentorship and growth: provide mentorship to product designers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and design excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Versatile design expertise: extensive experience designing across both web and mobile platforms.
- User-centric focus: a passion for creating seamless, user-friendly experiences, with an acute attention to detail in UI design. You continuously strive to enhance and streamline the user experience through thoughtful and iterative design.
- Great communication skills: proven ability to communicate design concepts effectively to a multicultural team, including executives, engineers, and other designers. Your ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions is key.
- Proven senior experience: a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a senior designer in a product-driven tech company, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to deliver impactful design solutions.
LocationThis position is full-time and based in Paris.Remote policy: 1-2 days a week (with some flexibility). - A 45-minute general design interview with two team members
- A final round of interviews at our office, including:
- A portfolio review: walk us through your design process for 1 or 2 interesting problems you tackled
- A design critique
- A design exercise
- A discussion with an engineer
