Currently, our website lists more than 2 million beds in over 400 cities worldwide.Job PurposeWe are seeking a Lead Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving value to our students and our partners including large student accommodation providers. We want you to drive this “obsession” with our students and how we can delight them!You will work closely with our technology teams to streamline how we deliver outcomes following the key underlying principles of delivering incremental value. You should have a product mindset and understand the value of measurable outcomes.There is a huge opportunity to mould how we undertake product management at Student.com. What can we learn from pioneering product thinkers such as Marty Cagan, Melissa Perri and Teresa Torres?RequirementsOur ideal Product Manager

• 8+ years of product management experience (ideally in a marketplace business)

• Contribute towards product strategy and vision in line with the business’s goals

• Learn about users and a product’s market

• Research competitors and similar products, and analyse market trends

• Collect and analyse user feedback to identify product requirements and priorities and steer the development process

• Report on product performance and user feedback and implement any necessary changes

• Be able to build compelling customer-focused stories and work with marketing to bring them to life.

• Excited to work on a B2C and B2B platforms that support a wide range of Student.com features with the goal of bringing the best possible experience to all the students and partners on our platform.

• Demonstrated track record of product leadership in a cross functional environment.

• Built and scaled global consumer products and ecosystems that people love.

• Entrepreneurial track record of taking an idea to reality and leading teams through a dynamic environment

• Experience working on consumer products that drives significant revenue.

• A strong ability to effectively use data and perform business analysis to support product strategy/decisions.

• Line managed and grown a team of Product Managers both as a group and individually

• Excited to drive execution across teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Enjoys doing individual contributor product management work and staying in the details.
