Lead Technical Engineer

Our Digital Engineering Function are looking for a Tech Lead. As we embark on a new chapter, evolving the way in which we deliver and support first class banking app platform, we’re looking for an experienced Tech Lead to provide technical leadership and direction to a highly motivated team of multi skilled engineers.At Nationwide we openly put our 15 million members at the centre of every decision we make as a business. Every role, no matter what it’s doing, is member focused.As a Tech Lead, you’ll be part of a strong technical and delivery team, working closely with the Engineering Leads, Delivery Lead, Chief Product Owner and Architecture. Your primary focus will be on leading and developing engineering teams covering a variety of technologies within Digital Engineering (part of CD&I) however, you’ll frequently collaborate with and contribute to the broader Engineering teams of Cloud, Digital and Integration too.You will provide technical leadership and oversight of multiple Digital Engineering teams and you will be a member of the Digital Tech Management Team under the Director of Channels Engineering.At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible.
