Lead Technical Sales Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Lead Technical Sales Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Bracknell. With a background in the Hydrotreating & Renewables Technology area, you will be a key enabler to LST’s growth by directing the adoption of UOP’s integrated solutions for our customers. With our integrated offering and lifecycle management vision, your deep technical understanding and business acumen, will allow you to create value propositions that unlock value for our customers in innovative ways. In this role, you will connect with many stakeholders (business, sales, technical services, legal, marketing, breakthrough initiative counter partners, etc.) to ensure value for our customer, internal alignment and profitable business growth. 

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model, with around 25% global travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical execution for LST opportunities by developing value propositions, business cases, and performance estimates. Prepare proposals and deliver presentations in customer meetings to secure sales.
  • Engage in customer discussions to understand their needs and expectations, providing technical sales input to enhance satisfaction. Leverage your technical skills and customer insights to create innovative solutions that lead to successful proposals and sales events.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the UOP aftermarket offering capabilities including our value propositions of the Honeywell business unit concentrating on the assigned area of expertise and becoming recognized internally and externally as a technology expert.
  • Reflect and allocate learnings from every engagement with other team members to ensure improved technical strategies across the globe in all future opportunities.
  • Contribute to the global team by looking for opportunities and making suggestions to improve our internal tools and processes so we can become our best.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering
  • Extensive experience in Refining, Petrochemicals or Gas Processing
  • Hydro-processing technology experience desirable
  • Diversity in experience across UOP and/or industry/plant operations highly valued. This could include different UOP technologies, different assignments in service, engineering, projects, marketing, R&D etc.
  • “Can-do attitude” – key for this breakthrough initiative and LST transformation enabler
